If you’re struggling with a life you feel isn’t you, I can help. If you feel that something is missing, feeling sad for no reason, or you’re struggling with life changes.
Outwardly you might feel you have to do what is expected of you but inside you are depressed, anxious, even despairing. You CAN make changes, or live better with those things you can’t change. Talking with a trained counsellor can be such a big relief, it changes your perspective.
I help you work through your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour in a non-judgemental way. We’ll work towards understanding where these come from so we can change how you deal with them. Being listened to and understood can go a long way to help you deal with what’s happening in your life.
Often people think their worries are too silly to talk about, or that others people’s problems are much bigger than theirs. This just isn’t true. You’d be amazed how many times people come to me with a ‘small’ problem that has overshadowed their lives for years. Sometimes people feel they can’t change anything by just talking about their problem. This also isn’t true. I won’t offer advice. I won’t tell you what to do. But I will walk with you on your journey while you figure things out for yourself.
Working with me:
I am an experienced, fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I can offer you counselling as a short term service (up to 6 weeks), or psychotherapy as a longer term commitment, up to 2 years or longer, depending upon your needs. We meet for an initial session or two so you can decide if this is for you.
