If you’re struggling or feeling stuck in your life, I can help. Maybe you feel like something is missing, you feel sad or angry, or you’re in the middle of difficult life changes.
Outwardly you might look fine, but inside you might be depressed, anxious, or have problems with relationships. I provide a safe space for you to feel less overwhelmed, feel less stressed, and happier.
I help you work through your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour in a non-judgemental way. We’ll work towards understanding where these come from so we can change how you deal with them.
Often people think their worries are too silly to talk about, or that others people’s problems are much bigger than theirs. This isn’t true. You’d be amazed how many times people come to me with a ‘small’ problem that has overshadowed their lives for years. Sometimes people feel they can’t change anything by just talking about their problem. This also isn’t true. I won’t tell you what to do, but I will walk with you on your journey while you figure things out for yourself.
Work with me:
I am an experienced, fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I offer solutions based on psychodynamics, CBT, DBT, solution focused therapy and mindfulness interventions. I am very experienced with young adults (18-21years), and with professionals. Initially, we can speak on the phone if you want to, and we meet for an assessment session or two so you can decide if this is for you.
Depending on your needs I provide:
- Short term counselling for a few weeks,
- Longer term counselling/psychotherapy up to 2 years or longer, depending upon your needs.
- ‘Drop in‘ sessions aimed at teaching and healthcare professionals to decompress from their stresses.
