Wendy Padley at work

You might be struggling or feeling stuck in your life.  Maybe you feel like something is missing, or there is past trauma, maybe you feel sad or angry, or you’re in the middle of difficult life changes.

Self understanding leads to self acceptance and this gives you choices about how you live with parts of yourself that you want to understand better or you want to change.

I provide a space for you to talk freely through your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour.  In this space we can attend to you with compassion. I won’t offer advice or tell you what to do, but we will have time and space to think together about what brings you to therapy.

Work with me:
I’m an experienced, fully qualified, registered and accredited BACP Psychodynamic psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. I’m also registered with the UKCP. My therapeutic work is also Jungian informed and these approaches help you think at depth about where you are in your life and your difficulties. I can bring in CBT, DBT and solution focussed modalities into short to medium counselling. My extensive training demands that I fulfill rigorous continuous professional development requirements every year. I’m very experienced with young adults (18+), Highly Sensitive People and neurodiverse people. A free short telephone or online call is available so you can decide if what I offer is for you.

Having someone trained to listen can be a huge relief. Therapy is an individual process and is unique to you - what is most important is our relationship. Why choose psychotherapy as opposed to any other kind of therapy? Find out more here.

Depending on your needs I provide:-

  • Longer term psychotherapy

  • Short to medium term counselling

  • Single Session Therapy

  • Outdoor / ecotherapy where appropriate

  • Therapeutic and Reflective Writing

I also offer EAP work on request.
